Arsonist destroys two Brighton allotment sheds in fire

An arsonist destroyed two sheds on a Brighton allotments and vandalised two others.

Sussex Police urged anyone who saw the person or people responsible for the damage to help officers bring them to justice.

Police were called out along with firefighters from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service early on Thursday morning (26 September) to reports of a fire.

The arson attack, which happened at the allotments in Swanborough Drive, Whitehawk, was reported at about 5am on Thursday.

Sussex Police said: “Two privately owned garden sheds had been destroyed by fire and two more had been vandalised.”
