The 1975
With tour dates rapidly selling out and being thoroughly enjoyed at several festivals this summer, Manchester based indie-rock band The 1975 came to Brighton in the hope of pleasing a highly-eager audience. With the recent release of their self-titled debut album, there was anticipation for it to live up to the popular single ‘Chocolate’ which it did not fail to do.
Their influences were quite apparent in both their lyrics and sound on this night. Although known as an alternative rock band, heavy influences of electro and guitar pop make this band much more likeable hence the tremendous sell-out success. Try not to miss these guys if you can help it.
