A journey to the heart of fabulous: Priscilla Queen Of The Desert comes to the Theatre Royal Brighton this Christmas
Get ready for the ride of your life! Priscilla Queen Of The Desert – The Musical, the feel good international hit sensation, is coming to Theatre Royal Brighton for three weeks only this Christmas.
Based on the smash hit movie, Priscilla is the heartwarming, uplifting adventure of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed of.
With a hit parade of dancefloor favourites including ‘It’s Raining Men’, ‘I Will Survive’, ‘Hot Stuff’, ‘Finally’, ‘Boogie Wonderland’, ‘Go West’, ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’, and ‘I Love The Nightlife’, this wildly fresh and funny new musical is a journey to the heart of fabulous!
The show has won numerous awards, including four WhatsOnStage.com awards and the prestigious Olivier and Tony Awards for Best Costume Design.
Noel Sullivan takes the lead role of Tick for the Brighton run. Noel is best known as one fifth of the record-breaking pop band Hear’Say. His television credits include the hit BBC comedy Gavin And Stacey. Most recently, he played the lead role of Galileo in We Will Rock You, both in the West End and on a national tour.
Priscilla also stars Richard Grieve as Bernadette. Richard previously played the part of Tick in the West End production of the show and is probably best known as Jonny Foster in Emmerdale. A native Australian, he played Sam Kratz in Neighbours and Dr Lachlan Frazer in Home And Away. His UK theatre credits include the national tour of Footloose – The Musical and Bells Are Ringing at the Unicorn Theatre.
Graham Weaver plays Felicia, which he played in the West End production of the show. His other theatre credits include Mary Sunshine in Chicago and Assassins.
