Mark Kermode: Hatchet Job

Many of you may know Mr Kermode for his knowledgable and entertaining contributions to the film community; from ‘Sight and Sound’ magazine to more recently claiming ‘The Observer’ chief film critic throne. Some of you may have experienced his ability to rant lyrical about the travesty that is most Michael Bay films.

Whatever relationship with the bespectacled, quiff-wearing Twi-hard fan, the audience revelled in an evening of Kermode’s musings. From intelligent comments about the culture of cinema to hilarious anecdotes about his ‘Dick Van Danny Dyer’ encounters, we left confident that reading his third book ‘Hatchet Job’ will not be a disappointment.
