Russell Kane – Smallness

Russell Kane ripped through half an hours’ worth of material in about ten minutes. And then continued at the same pace for the next hour and a half, which whipped past in almost as much of a blur as his legs as they scissored up and down the stage. Despite such verve and energy, he still has time for moments of rueful self-reflection, and merciless deconstruction of himself and his own audience, from hyperactive teens to pouting Guardian readers. And it might be the only time this year we see a grown man impersonating a melting brie.
