Pappy’s – Last Show Ever

I never thought that a show from silly-but-actually-good sketch stalwarts Pappy’s could be moving. But there were times in the ingenious Last Show Ever where I could feel a lump forming in my throat. These moments were always punctured by an excellent gag or terrible pun. Matthew, Tom and Ben never forgot that this was a comedy show and in that respect it was also the boys at the height of their powers; landing each sketch with aplomb. Even those scenes that initially looked to be the least promising had twists that put them a cut above. An unmissable hour.
