Fascinating Aïda

After 30 years together, Britain’s doyens of cabaret performers (plus a superlative younger soprano) have a very loyal following. If you want to catch them live then book early for their next Brighton appearance or follow them around the country (they’re wintering in London), because they have a habit of selling out. And no wonder, their show is based on meticulously crafted songs, thoroughly musical with witty lyrics that match the best of G&S or Sondheim. A full palate of pastiche, parody and patter, with their own particular comic genre, the pithy ‘Bulgarian’ folk-song. They’re bawdy, beautiful and truly fascinating!
