The South East’s most beautiful winter ice rink will open for its fourth year on Saturday 9 November 2013 to Sunday 19 January 2014 on the Royal Pavilion’s Eastern Lawns in Brighton.

Its new ‘pop up’ Bar & Kitchen, created by Hardings Caterers, offers main dishes from £10 including winter-warming dishes such as gourmet burgers, pork belly roast, lamb rump and king prawn Goan curry. Starters and light lunches are available from £6, including chunky ciabatta sandwiches, chickpea fritters, soup and a great value kids’ menu at £5. At the Bar, enjoy a range of vegetarian, fish or meat sharing platters, or why not try the rink’s very own Brighton Bratwurst in crusty bread, all washed down with Brighton Ale for just £8.50?
It’s a great place to have your Christmas party this year overlooking the fun on the ice, with good value packages from £24.50 for a welcome drink, three-course meal and of course there is the option to skate for those who want to – which is a great party ice breaker!
Businesses or groups of friends can also take their party to the Ice Rink Comedy Night, hosted by Brighton’s star compere Stephen Grant on Friday 29 November, with a welcome drink, three-course menu and three top comedians, all for only £32.50.
With the former Royal pleasure palace as its backdrop, the 800 square metre rink has space for 250 skaters per session, with a beginners’ area with penguin skate aids and skate sizes from ‘just walking’ to adult, offering seasonal fun and a unique and special festive experience.
Why not try their fantastic Sunday lunches served from 12pm, with the best views in town? Enjoy a great main course Sunday lunch with a welcoming glass of mulled wine for just £12.50.
