Daniel Sloss – Stand Up
It was a personable and friendly show of stand up that sheltered from the pounding rain on Sunday night, peppered with the expected profanities that entertained and tickled. First up was support act Kai Humphries, a likeable Geordie comic, delivering up perfectly engaging stories of his childhood – past and present. Daniel Sloss himself was a perfectly balanced mixture of cheeky, focussed, tightly written and expertly delivered pontifications on life, love and the nature of parenting. Exhibiting timing and confidence well earned by his years on the circuit, outlandish at times as he pulled faces and played out conversations, he was nonetheless hugely likeable every step of the way and delivered up a highly amusing hour.
