Albion star presents awards to Brighton school children

Brighton and Hove Albion football star Kazenga LuaLua presented prizes to pupils at the secondary school nearest the club’s Amex stadium.

The 22-year-old winger, who previously played for Newcastle United, went along to the Brighton Aldridge Community Academy (BACA) to congratulate students on their achievements.

The school said that he presented the Inter School Cup to Roddick House for the best results overall in sporting activities, achievement, attendance, punctuality and behaviour.

He also presented Platinum Awards for achievement in lessons to 15 individual students.

After the awards assembly, the prize winners had a chance to meet the player who has become known for celebrating his goals with back flips and a somersault.
