Brighton board game raises money for food banks this Christmas

A Brighton-based board game company, Bedsit Games, has created a colourful and entertaining game called BN1, with profits from its sale going to a very worthy cause.

All copiessold via the website will see £5 donated to FareShare Brighton and Hove, a not-for-profit organisation that run food banks from the city.

FareShare fights food poverty by redistributing quality surplus food to organisations working with homeless and vulnerable people in the community.

Paul Stapleton, founder of Bedsit Games, transformed a comic strip called BN1 into a fully functional board game which includes sites ranging from the Banksy Mural and Brighton Toy Museum to Brighton Station and Chattri Memorial.

Look out for BN1 magazine across Brighton during December; there’ll be a pull-out-and-play BN1 themed game in there, called Festive Frenzy.
