CineCity: A Story of Children and Film

A Story of Children and Film was a very insightful look at how children have been portrayed in film over time, ranging from lesser well known films in different countries, to well known films such as ‘ET’, ‘Frankenstein (1931)’ and more. Using an unique technique of seeing the documentary narrator’s own kids as a primary leaping point, this film also looked at the different stages of a child’s life as depicted, such as playing, bullying, and directors getting natural reactions out of them.

This was not only entertaining to watch, but extremely insightful and informative as a whole.
