Jamie Lenman

As far as talented song writers and lyricists go, Mr Lenman is up there with the greats. It has been five whole years since Jamie toured with his highly acclaimed band Reuben. Diehard fans have been petitioning for their return, and you know what, we got far better last night. His new material swings from big band style accolades to the usual heavy hardcore you would expect. What is really commendable about this show is the fact Lenman didn’t shy away from the old Reuben material. He knows people want to hear it and he didn’t make the mistake of ignoring that. Yes, he’s a solo musician in his own right now but he hasn’t forgotten his roots. It’s bloomin’ good to have him back!
