Albert Hammond Jr

Guitarist to The Strokes, Albert Hammond Jr’s solo performance is somewhat different. His movement into the limelight as lead vocalist means an alternative sound, helped by a strong team of guitarists. The five piece were incredibly tight tonight at The Haunt, with not a word between them as they moved into different areas of their set. They played their music continuously with interludes and solo pieces connecting each song, creating an overwhelming atmosphere. Songs from their newest album AHJ filtered the set, a compilation of intimate tracks that bound the evening together on a further level.
