Palma Violets

An energetic and unpredictable Palma Violets satisfy an equally energetic crowd with a continuous string of loud, rocky guitar-based numbers. Even after their big hit, ‘Best of Friends’, the band showed no signs of flagging and maintained the energy levels right up until the minute they walked off the stage. Impressive! Charismatic frontmen Chilli Jesson and Samuel Fryer had the audience in the palm of their hands throughout the set, and even those who only went to quietly watch with a drink will have found themselves down in the mosh pit and appreciating the raucous energy consuming Concorde 2.

After the support act Childhood captivated the audience with their confident but casual vibe and seamlessly cool set, Palma Violets had to up the ante in order to avoid them stealing the show. And they did just that. After being named “the best new band in Britain” by NME, Palma Violets had a lot to live up to, but hopefully we’ll all start hearing a lot more of Palma Violets.
