The Puppini Sisters

The three vintage vocalists, renowned for their three-part harmony singing, donned slinky sequins to take to the stage with their band. Admiring the colossal flying dove atop Maria Puppini’s head, one audience member exclaimed “I should have worn the budgie!”

From the seductive ‘Santa Baby’ to the tragic story of the ‘Little Match Girl’, via the outraged ‘I Can’t Believe I’m Not A Millionaire’, this alternative Christmas show included many classics from the Puppinis’ repertoire to keep the crowd entertained.

Despite their insistence on breaking out the jingle bells, to moderate applause, this performance was full of exuberant clap-along fun.
