Barbara Nice Countdown To Christmas

Three cheers for Barbara and her afternoon of festive fun. Leave your inhibitions at the door as Mrs Nice takes you back to the pleasures of a Christmas before computer games. Mince pie eating competitions, balloon games and dead celebrity musical statues had us all up and joining in, even the most conservative amongst us. Dotted with some well penned songs and her inimitable no holds barred northern charm, Barbara Nice is a classy working class lady that made me smile from ear to ear. Who else could have people baying for prizes like a Fray Bentos pie and a bottle of Dettol in her Xmas raffle? Only Barbara. This is joyously non-alternative comedy that does not rely on bad language and shock but revels in our past and the loss of innocence.
