Midwinter Ceilidh
Brighton Dome’s Midwinter Ceilidh was the perfect foil to all the face stuffing and telly watching that’s going to be the backbone of entertainment for the rest of the Christmas period. Ceilidh band the Flying Chaucers had everyone on the floor hopping and skipping to a variety of reels and other traditional and new dances. I don’t remember a traditional dance involving heads, shoulders, knees and toes before, but it was better than any aerobics class. A great chance for all ages to get together and have some fun away from the TV screen.
