Brighton night club attack victim needs extensive surgery
A man celebrating the new year in a Brighton night club needed extensive surgery after being attacked by another reveller.
The 23-year-old victim, from Eastbourne, was punched in the face and fell to the floor.
He suffered serious facial injuries in the attack in the early hours of New Year’s Day (Wednesday 1 January).
The assault took place in Shoosh in King’s Road Arches, Brighton, at about 5.30am.
Sussex Police said: “Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened.”
