The company is celebrating a successful year having expanded into its new head office in Brighton, with more than 120 staff.

It won the Elearning Company of the Year Award in Britain last month and has expanded in Australia, New Zealand and America.

Last year it was named the top Elearning Content Development Company in the US.

“Our new office is a superb place for our creative team to work and also a perfect environment to welcome clients.

“We are very excited by the visit of the Princess Royal, who takes a keen interest in the work of City & Guilds.

“We will be demonstrating to her our leading edge work with major companies such as Nikon, Barclays, Nike, BP and McDonald’s.”

The Carers Centre for Brighton and Hove, in Bedford Place, Hove, is a local charity which was originally set up as a drop-in centre in Hove in 1988.

It exists to support anyone in Brighton and Hove who is caring for a partner, relative or friend who needs help because of illness, disability, substance misuse or old age.

It has a team of 20 full-time and part-time staff, most of whom offer direct support to carers.
