Hayley Pinker offers tips for perfect eyebrows

Eyebrows are an interesting topic when it comes to doing make-up on someone. Some people love them, the bolder the better. Whereas others do not want anything done to theirs. I always recommend to my clients to have a little colour on them, just to fill them in and make them look more uniform. Some people are very confident putting make- up on their own brows while others ask for help as they can get a bit lost. Here are some tips to help with perfecting your own eyebrows:

❖ Aim for a nice arch in the brow. This will lift the eye and ultimately the face, making the face look brighter. Even if you do not naturally have an arch, you can create an illusion of one by going slightly above your eyebrow where an arch should be.

❖ Keep brows neat, tidy and sharp. Be careful not too use any product or equipment that is going to make them appear messy. Decide on the shape, commit to it and stick to it! The brow can have a sharp shape without looking drawn on or fake.

❖ Apply a nice highlight using a highlight or illuminising product under the brow on the arch. Again, this will help with lifting the eye and creating a lovely shape. There are many different highlighting products for sale; a light shimmer eyeshadow can also be used to highlight.
