Love is in the air
Latest 7 finds Valentine’s Day is made perfect when good food is on the menu
We all know how important is to make a perfect date with our loved one on a particular day of the year… Yep, February 14th is almost here, and love is definitely in the air. Even if you’re not the biggest fan of Valentine’s Day, there’s no escaping the love hearts, red roses and love songs on the radio. As John Paul Young sang: “Love is in the air, everywhere I look around…”
So, why not do things you love and share them with someone special this month? When it comes to love, not everything has to be related with romantic feelings. For instance, having a favourite food can evoke great emotions (just think about the power of chocolate for some of us). This may sound like a typical male interpretation – food is the way to a man’s heart and all that – but it’s not just men who can enjoy a great foodie experience. For men the choice may be chips and beer, for women it’s chocolate and wine, but it’s not the chips and beer that are most often gifted on Valentine’s Day. Now that’s what we call expressing feelings!
For the perfect Valentine’s Day, a meal out is a great gift. Take your partner out to dinner in a romantic setting that guarantees great food, and the best bit is someone else takes care of all the details. All you need to do is make the reservation! If you have something special planned for your loved one (a key to your place or an engagement ring) speak to the venue and arrange the surprise in advance. On the day, you can just relax and enjoy the moment, without having to worry about overcooking the dinner.
Spice things up a bit this Valentine’s Day with a romantic meal at Agua Dulce in Brighton. The restaurant offers an authentic Spanish experience with a traditional meal in a comfortable atmosphere with friendly service. We all know the Spanish are passionate people, so romance will be off the chart here on 14th February!
If you want a more traditional meal, but something different and memorable, take your partner to The Amex Stadium Restaurant. If you live in the area, you will not have missed the modern stadium in Falmer, the home of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club. If your partner is a football fan, take them straight to the heart of the team, with a romantic dinner in the west stand lounges overlooking the pitch. In the restaurant, enjoy live music with lovely wine and a delicious meal.
No matter where you take your loved one on 14th February, everything will be hearts and romance, so feel the love and enjoy.
