Based on Markus Zusak’s hugely popular novel, The Book Thief tells the story of Liesel (played by Sophie Nelisse) living with a foster family in WW2 Germany. Liesel finds solace in stealing books and sharing them with others to help them create a magical, escapist world. Roger Allam narrates the story as Death, and Emily Watson and Geoffrey Rush also star.
