Hove house burgled

A house has been burgled in Shirley Street, Hove. Detectives are appealing for anyone who can help their inquiries to come forward.

Sussex Police said: “House-to-house inquiries have already been made in the immediate area.”

The terraced house was broken into in the early hours of Thursday 13 February.

Detective Sergeant Katherine Witt said: “The victim was a middle-aged woman who lost cash, jewellery and other valuables.

“Anyone who may have noticed any suspicious people, vehicles or activity in this part of Hove in the early hours of Thursday is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk.”
