Celebcity: Gresham Blake, Hobbie Stuart, Nick Cave & Celebcity in NYC

POP ROYALTY
Last week saw UK-pop royalty put on their Sunday best for the Brit awards – and of course our boy Gresham Blake had been a busy man. The Brighton-based tailor created suits for locals Rizzle Kicks and Passanger as well as drum and bass kings Rudimental. Of course the lads were easily the best dressed men on the red carpet – with Gresham showing why he’s still the go to man for eye-catching suits. We love his latest portrait taken by photographer Kenny McCracken, so we’re sharing that with you too!

HOBBIE STUART AT CONCORDE2
Rising Brighton star Hobbie Stuart, whose Drake cover made us weak at the knees last year, has announced a gig at the Concorde2 next month! In association with Skint Records and Brighton’s Juice 107.2FM, Hobbie will be playing to raise money for 5 year old Oliver Poinsignon, who suffers from cerebral palsy. The fundraiser hopes to help reach the £52,000 needed for Oliver to have a specialist operation not available on the NHS. Hobbie’s debut record – Still Here – hit stores this week, and we can’t wait to see how it does. With Juice’s own Guy Lloyd introducing the heartthrob as well, we suspect teenage girls everywhere will be racing to get tickets. Make sure you get yours soon.

ADELE CHILLING IN BRIGHTON
Our Adele was spotted on a rare VIP outing recently to see (theartistformerlyknownas) Prince last week. Braving the awful English weather, the Oscar-winning singer stepped out for a girls night in a fedora hat and black trainers – we imagine baby Angelo just chilled at home in Brighton.

SHROVE TUESDAY
With Shrove Tuesday – one of my favourite days in the calendar – fast approaching, you can imagine my delight to hear that a brand new and fabulous pancake joint will be opening on Ship Street, just in time for the occasion. The Creperie, next to Hotel du Vin on Ship Street will offer a mash up of French and British influences and most importantly, delicious French style crepes (my personal fave is the traditional lemon and sugar). The really great news is that to celebrate Pancake Day, the lovely people at The Creperie will be attempting to break the world record for the tallest stack of pancakes ever made AND GIVING. THEM. AWAY. FOR FREE! So head down to Ship Street on March 4 and try to break your own world record for the biggest amount of crepes eaten on one sitting. Happy eating!
