Hammer-wielding raiders steal DJ deck and mixer in Hove
Three men stole a music deck and mixer in a robbery at a flat in Hove.
They threatened the person in the flat, in Seafield Road, with a hammer before stealing equipment worth more than £2,000.
Sussex Police urged anyone who had seen or been offered the deck or mixer to tell detectives.
The force said today (Monday 3 March): “Police in Brighton and Hove are asking if local people have been offered some distinctive electronic items stolen in a recent robbery.
“At about 11am on Tuesday 11 February three men went to a flat in Seafield Road, Hove, threatened the occupier with a hammer and stole electrical items.
“Photos published show a black Pioneer DTM800 Mixer and a white Pioneer CDJ2000 player. Two of these players were stolen.
“The suspects were all described as white.”
One was 5ft 8in tall, of medium build, with short light brown hair. He was wearing a hat.
The second was 5ft 10in tall, of larger build, with brown eyes and short dark brown hair. He was wearing a dark blue v-neck jumper.
The third was 5ft 11in tall and skinny. He concealed his face with a white scarf and was wearing a black body warmer jacket.
Detective Constable Tom Coll said: “If you saw these men or if you have been offered these items since mid February, we would like to hear from you.”
