Rizzle Kicks

Playing their last gig to a home crowd of tweenies, teenies and twadults this was always going to be a sure-fire hit, and sure enough there was bouncing, hump humping and arm-waving in abundance. There’s been much talk of it being old style hip hop but really this is pure pop like Madness and Kid Creole and the Coconuts before them – jazz, ska, reggae, rap, all mashed up with Britpop, charisma and musicianship. Let’s skip to the good bit – jeggings! Too much swearing for the littluns though, sorry, 1 star deducted!
