The Treason Show
This was aimed at fans of Radio 4’s ‘Now Show’, with subjects such as Putin and the situation in The Crimea providing cannon fodder. Like any fast-paced sketch show, it’s hit and miss, but there are gems littered amongst the carnage of their scatter-gun approach. It is at its best when the talented, versatile cast have time to expand the idea, such as rewording hit songs (Bowie at the Grammys). There’s nothing too radical to shock a Sussex-based audience, who enjoyed the local references. Actor/Director Mark Brailsford, you stand accused of Treason; the real crime is your constant nudity, for which you should be well hung!
