The Russian Ice Stars In Peter Pan On Ice

Every inch of the Congress stage was utilised in this stunning production with the Russian Ice Stars. With a gorgeous back-drop that literally was the pages of a giant book, the familiar tale unfolded with top class skating and impressive music that perfectly depicted the charm and character of the children’s story. The addition of J.M Barrie ‘writing’ on stage was ingenious, and Anton khlynin as Michael Darling was sublime. However, the addition of a radio DJ as narrator added a panto element that was out of place and irrelevant. Lose this and it’s a five-star piece.
