Six held after fight near Portslade Station

Six people were arrested for affray after a fight near Portslade Station.

One of those arrested was a 17-year-old girl after Sussex Police officers were called to the fight in Boundary Road, Hove, near the corner of Portland Road.

She was released on police bail until Friday 4 April, along with three men who were detained at the same time. Two of the men are 20 years old and one is 19.

Two other men, a 26-year-old and a 21-year-old, were arrested for affray and assaulting a police officer. Both have been bailed until Saturday 5 April.

The fight happened at about 2am last Saturday (8 March).

Detective Sergeant Simon Dunn said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the disturbance or who may have any information that could assist the police with their investigation.”
