Alive host charity fundraising day for WhaleFest & Born Free
Alive Fitness & Natural Health held a charity ‘Classathon’ event on Wednesday 12th March 2014 in aid of Bornfree and Whalefest. The fun started at 10am with ‘Hake The Cycle’ (Break The Cycle), followed by ‘Turtle Body Blast’ (Aerobic Body Blast), ‘Baited Workout’ (Whole Body Workout), Break the Snorkle (Break The Cycle) and Krillbells (Kettlebells).
All money raised on the day go to charities BornFree and Whalefest.
A cake sale and raffle was also held on the day, with fantastic prizes including an Orca Adoption!

Hunt & Darton pop-up café opens
Hunt & Darton launched their award-winningw pop-up café at 16 Brighton Square on Wednesday 5 March. The café isn’t just arty, it is ART. Guests enjoyed retro cakes and let Jenny Hunt and Holly Darton expose the inner workings of their business by presenting everything as art – from the food served, the people serving, the décor and public display of their bank balance to the lovingly handpicked charity shop crockery. Yvonne Coomber’s solo exhibition launches at Art5 Gallery
Art5 Gallery hosted Yvonne Coomber’s first solo show in Sussex, (8–16 March), exhibiting a brand new collection of her vibrant signature florals, as well as exclusively unveiling an exciting new style. Yvonne draws immediate inspiration from the picturesque surroundings of the Devonshire meadows. She captures the chaotic yet harmonious energy within nature, bringing warmth and joy to the canvas.
