The breakfast radio bloke stays up late and gives stand-up a shot… and Christian O’Connell is swimming, not sinking.  Warm, endearing and striking a clear chord with the crowd over sharing mid-life angst, O’Connell revisited a teenage list of goals to achieve by the age of 40, to mirth and mutual understanding.

This is a man at the start of the comedy learning curve, easy on the ears and at ease with a live audience (he’s a multi Sony award-winning radio DJ after all). The complementary overlap between live radio and comedy stands O’Connell in good stead. One to keep an eye – and ear – on.
