Faustus

Faustus made sure everyone was entertained with their traditional folk songs. Some dating back to medieval times, some original material that enchanted us all. It was however not just their great voices that made the evening, but their charm and wit (albeit corny). Storytelling played a huge part of the night also as they gave a good background as to why the songs were written.

Highlights included ‘The Hostess’s Daughter’, ‘Lovely Johnny’, ‘Banks of the Nile’ and ‘Balina Whalers’. All that were sung showed depth, interest and a relaxed atmosphere for all involved.
