Woman taken to hospital after Brighton city centre road accident
A woman was taken to hospital after a three-car smash on one of Brighton’s most congested streets.
Emergency services were called to Marlborough Place near the King and Queen pub at about 10.50am today (Tuesday March 25) to deal with the incident.
Reports suggested a car had collided with parked cars before smashing into a building.
Fires crews, paramedics and police officers were called to deal with the incident.
Witnesses reported debris strewn across the street and traffic was reduced from three to one lanes while the recovery took place.
Officers said no-one was seriously injured but one woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said enquiries are continuing.
