Mark Thomas – 100 Acts of Minor Dissent

Stand-up-and-be-counted-comedian Mark Thomas’ new show reviewed his ambitious plan to commit 100 acts of dissent before the end of April 2014 to a heaving full house. Everything from photographing a policeman everyday for a year to successfully campaigning for Curzon cinema staff to be officially unionised, Thomas’ ire against injustice is tempered with his appreciation of the absurd. Sadly the night was slightly marred by an overzealous heckler, who Thomas handled well, but who ultimately left a bad taste on the mouth. Regardless, Thomas’ boundless energy and enthusiasm for discord is always a joy to behold.
