Three teenage boys charged with Brighton robbery
Three teenage boys have been charged with robbing and attacking a man in a Brighton street at lunchtime on Tuesday (1 April).
They were arrested after a man was chased along Edward Street and into George Street where he was mugged. He had his mobile phone stolen.
Sussex Police said: “Three youths were arrested nearby and have been charged.”
A 16-year-old boy from Brighton was charged with robbery, assault and having cannabis.
A 16-year-old boy from Hove was charged with robbery and assault.
Both appeared in court in Brighton on Wednesday (2 April) and were remanded in custody.
A 15-year-old boy from Brighton was charged with robbery and assault and also appeared in court in Brighton on Wednesday.
He was bailed to appear before Eastbourne Youth Court on Tuesday 8 April.
