Competitions: Win Ryley Walker’s debut album
The classic folk sounds of the ‘60s have found a new torchbearer in Chicago’s Ryley Walker. Inspired by the likes of Tim Buckley and Bert Jansch, the 24-year-old singer songwriter has been making waves over the pond with his back-to-basics blend of folk ballads and jazzy acoustica.
The singer’s debut album, All Kinds Of You, is released today on the San Fran label, Tompkins Square. The album is an understated gem of guitar and piano arrangements topped with ‘a voice like browned butter’. To promote the album Walker is coming to the UK in June, playing Lunar Festival as well as a London show with Daniel Bachman.
We’ve got five copies of the album to give away to anyone who can answer the following question:
Where is Ryley Walker from?
