Pointless anger, righteous ire
Fast becoming a favourite – this irregular evening from BBC Radio 4’s Robin Ince and fellow grumpy fortysomething comic Michael Legge is an oasis for niggles and unreasonable tantrums, from both those on and off stage. They joked that it was immersive, as Ince ducked up from behind the stairwell, but it truly was as the irritations and petty angers at the world were enthusiastically purged. It was dropped that this was a work in progress show, but with its frenetic energy, in-the-moment source material and glorious enjoyment exploring the annoyances, it felt complete enough to hit the mark with aplomb.
