Willie Hendry Hair moves home

Back in 2009 we first wrote about the opening of Willie Hendry’s Brighton salon. After working in London and styling hair at fashion shows around the world, Willie, who has styled the likes of Keira Knightley, Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss, settled here in Brighton and has built up a loyal clientele. Now, Willie Hendry Hair has moved to its new home above Dental Health Spa on Queens Road, Brighton. It’s now a central hub for health and wellbeing with dentistry, spray tanning, weight loss and now hairdressing all under one roof. Regulars of Willie Hendry Hair will be pleased to note that Arthur has made the move too! On our visit, the building team were still hard at work, but a chic reception, ornamental mirrors and Willie Hendry’s branding is already in place. An official launch party is to follow.

Artists Open Houses launch

Thursday 10 April saw the launch of the Artists Open Houses at The Old Market, the evening included a private viewing of “Welcome to Darktown”, an exhibition by artist Jonny Hannah.

The festival is preparing to take place in Brighton, Hove and beyond over the four weekends of May. The largest event of its kind in the UK, around 200 houses and studio spaces will be opening their doors around different areas of the city, each with its own unique character and atmosphere.
