Attacker bites off part of man’s ear in Brighton
A 24-year-old man had part of his left ear bitten off after being attacked by two men in central Brighton.
He was attacked shortly after 12.30am on Sunday 30 March near the junction of New Road and North Street, Brighton.
The victim was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Kemp Town.
Detective Constable Christopher Hike, of Brighton CID, said: “This was a nasty incident in which the victim sustained permanent injuries to his ear and had to undergo emergency surgery.”
