Dance enthusiasts of all ages are being invited to give a new Brighton studio a whirl – with a host of celebrities helping its owners drum up interest.

Bird Studios officially opened its contemporary performance space in Brighton’s New England Quarter in Brighton yesterday (Wednesday April 30).

The venue will offer masterclasses in dance and music, provide teaching opportunities and allow performers to hire the space to hold rehearsals or events.

Among those famous faces backing it include Peter Andre who visited the studio at Vantage Point with his ITV camera crew earlier this month.

Managing director Mia Bird, said the studio’s motto is: “Sing like no one can hear you, dance like there’s no one there and act like you don’t care.”

She added: “We have workshops confirmed with TV’s Caroline Quentin as well as Justin Fletcher from CBeebies. Don’t just fly, soar!”

Bird Studios’ overall aim is to provide the public with a unique way of incorporating dance, drama and singing.

Previous shows the studio has produced include RENT and Little Mermaid, with many more being planned.
