Boreal Sons

All the way from Calgary, Boreal Sons played their first ever UK show right here in Brighton as part of The Great Escape. A packed out Spiegeltent gave them a warm welcome and their ambient indie sound, which is reminiscent of Bon Iver at times, captivated bar goers and even managed to hush the rowdy drinkers at the bar. There couldn’t have been a better atmosphere for the band to perform to. Their piano-laden tunes and intricately instrumented songs are incredibly thought provoking and easy to get lost in.
