Twin Atlantic

Having seen this band play early on in their career I knew their set was going to be a Great Escape highlight. Hailing from Scotland, they are fast putting UK rock music on the map. Their new track Heart and Soul is currently getting a lot of radio play, so both their Great Escape shows were packed out with old and new fans alike. One of the highlights of their set is when guitarist Barry McKenna swaps his guitar for a cello and reveals the true extent of his musical prowess. Twin Atlantic were the last band I saw at The Great Escape this year and it couldn’t have been a finer ending to a fantastic weekend.
