Tangled Feet – One Million

As dusk settled at Black Rock, a 500-plus crowd eagerly sat awaiting an unusual interactive form of outside theatre. This large scale display tells the story of one million people aged between 18 and 25 desperate to get on the employment ladder; a fusion of dance, acrobatics, light and movement ending with a eruption of fireworks. Powerfully narrated by hip hop poet Anthony Anaxagorou with live music from Guy Connelly of Clock Opera and Nick Gill of Monroe Transfer, including a cast of local performers, this amazing masterpiece highlighted the enduring, bright, shining hope of the youth of the nation.
