Notorious

Abraham Lincoln, Myra Hindley, Emmeline Pankhurst, Bettie Page – for some, this line up may be the ideal dinner party invitation list.
However this eclectic mix of characters also provided Belfast-based theatre company Spanner In The Works with the ideal material for latest production Notorious.
What followed was a fascinating insight into the minds of people who have changed the world, whether for better or worse.
With strong confident performances from Neil Keery and Caroline Curran as the pair alternately took on some challenging monologues, the 50-minute show just whizzed by.
Inventive, funny and engaging – the only complaint? Please sir, can I have some more?
