De Koude Kermis: Florence Foster Jenkins
An interesting piece of abstract theatre so obtuse the audience loses the intrinsic value of why we should know and understand. Florence Foster Jenkins is an independent, pioneering personality who determined to pursue her dream and was willing to put her every effort into her pursuit. She was an eccentric, brave enough to follow her star. This piece bears no relation to its title and is at best shocking, at worst meaningless. One leaves the theatre wondering just what it was one has seen.
