The Last Five Years

An exquisite musical duet between two of the most talented actor/singers ever: Danielle Hope and Jon Robyns, with directing that is spot on by Katie Pesskin. Composer Jason Robert Brown pushes all the buttons as he explores the beginning and the end of a five-year relationship with all its heartbreak and broken hopes. This is the finest and most powerful musical I have seen in many years on any stage. I cannot imagine a human being not moved by the shimmering pathos of this performance.
