Best of Brighton Festival and Fringe celebrated at Latest awards

After more than 700 events at nearly 200 venues spread over four weeks, the Brighton Festival and Fringe is over for another year.

To celebrate the great and the good from this year’s event, The Latest held an awards evening at the Latest Music Bar.

With winners ranging from stand-up poets to the Spiegeltent, 2014 was a year to remember for performers and paying audiences alike.

Performers from both Brighton Festival and Brighton Fringe were victorious in the 15 categories.

But Brighton Fringe boss Julian Caddy said there is more to come in 2015 as it consolidates its place in the UK’s festival calender.
