Competitions: Win Teatime Tales Book

Earlier this year, the café in Brighton’s Pavilion Gardens was saved from demolition by a 6,000-strong petition, a testament to the public’s affection for the place. Now the café is being celebrated in Teatime Tales, a collection of stories by and about the diverse clientele that gather there.

Featuring tales from 15 local authors and compiled by QueenSpark Books, Brighton’s non-profit community publisher, Teatime Tales is a record of local history and a fascinating account of the everyday lives of people. It has been chosen as QueenSpark’s book of the month, which means you can buy it from the publisher for half price throughout June.

We have five copies of the book to give away to anyone who can answer this question:

What’s the name of the architect who designed the Royal Pavilion?

To be in with a chance to win, email competitions@thelatest.co.uk with the name of the competition in the subject box and your answer to the question in the body of the email. Alternatively, write to us at the address at the front of the magazine. Don’t forget to give your name, address and telephone number.
Closing date for entries: Monday 23 June 2014.
