Brighton’s Big Screen in association with Jose Cuervo announces its return for 2014 to show a great line-up of blockbuster and classic movies bought to you by Chandlers Brighton BMW & Mini plus the live coverage of the football in Brazil from 12 June – 13 July.
The free outdoor beach cinema will showcase a mixture of movie classics and recent box office hits on the gigantic 40sqm screen including: Captain Phillips, The Hunger Games Catching Fire, The Lego Movie, Dirty Dancing, Jaws and ET, plus top live sporting events including the football in Brazil, Wimbledon and the British Grand Prix.
Situated on Brighton Beach next to the Wheel and the Volks Railway, Brighton’s Big Screen in association with Jose Cuervo will bring a taste of Latin to Brighton Beach this summer. There will be a fully licenced cantina style bar as well as frozen margarita machines, a seated grandstand, Skerritts VIP lounge, great food courtesy of MEAT Liquor and Dead Good Burrito.
New for 2014, Brighton’s Big Screen looks set to be the world’s first ‘Green Screen’ powered by a solar and biodiesel generator running from 100% waste vegetable oil, courtesy of clean energy specialist, Firefly.

Due to the late kick-off time, Brighton’s Big Screen will not be showing the first England game on Sat 14 June. If you would like to attend the England vs Uruguay (Thurs 19 June) and England vs Costa Rica (Tues 24 June) games, entry is wristband only but you can register for free online.
